The operating current cabinet (OCC) is designed for uninterruptible power supply of operational control, protection, automation and signaling circuits at power plants and substations. Also OCC can be used in other industries.
Structurally, the cabinet has a power section and control circuits.
The power section includes:
- Rectifier charger;
- Rechargeable batteries;
- Protective and distribution devices;
- Terminal blocks;
Control circuits consist of:
- Protective devices;
- RC control systems;
- Executive relays and contactors;
- Measurement, indication and signaling circuits;
- Terminal blocks.
The compact design of the OCC is ensured by the use of modular-type chargers and maintenance-free rechargeable batteries with front connection.
Rectifier-chargers of various domestic and foreign manufacturers can be used as part of the cabinets. Storage batteries are used maintenance-free sealed.
Wide range of input and output voltage.
High-performance controllers are used to control the operation of the power modules of the charger. They provide both control (load distribution among the modules) and the collection of the necessary information, which is displayed on the touchscreen graphic screen.
The operating current cabinet provides:
- Automatic control of the insulation resistance on the busbars.
- Control of the position of the input circuit breakers.
- Operation of all cabinet systems, both from the external network and from batteries.
- • Output of the state of outgoing circuit breakers and the necessary signals to an external terminal block.
A heating system can be provided to eliminate condensation.
